Before coming to PSW, Shyamali Maharaj started her career at an underground promotion owned by the sleazy Tina Schiavista called Schiavista's Savage Sluggers. She's actually South African, but they didn't care, and neither do we. She honestly wasn't someone we would have considered, given her non-existent in-ring ability and personality. A lot can change in two years.
Her rise in S.S.S. started when she suddenly became more ruthless in the ring and declared herself "untouchable". Her sharp tongue, rampant cheating and apparent visceral hatred for everything made her a big name on the internet, along with her prominent posterior, believed to be the possible result of a BBL. A rumour that she has repeatedly denied.
As time passed, she got steadily better and she got progressively more popular, even honourable, while still maintaining her charisma. When we caught sight of her, we decided that she had to be ours.
While her wrestling may not be on the level of some of the people we got in here, her toughness and determination are admirable. Another thing about her is that, on rare occasions, she can summon bursts of near-superhuman strength to gain the advantage.
