Johnathan Joseph Johnson didn't always want to be a pro wrestler, despite being a freak athlete and the grandson of Oga Ajasco, a legendary powerhouse who had suffered only one loss in his 30-year career.
Johnson was actually a D1 association football player who had excelled in every position and was getting scouted by some of the top teams in Europe. For reasons we have yet to determine, he decided to make the jump to our side and was personally trained by Ajasco himself to become the force of nature that is Johnny Cyclone. And we mean FORCE. He's got a bench press of nearly 500 Kg, or roughly 1100lbs, and has been clocked running at 37 kph, or 23 mph.
Basically, he's a superhero, and his in-ring persona is a reflection of his childhood love for them. Which means he's a nerd too, and as much as we'd love to make fun of that, we just can't with the reputation he's amassed. Many indie promoters and crews have remarked on his respectful nature, his willingness to build and break apart rings and his reckless do-goodery.
A moment that caught our attention was a story of him stopping an armed robbery in a gas station by tackling the robber out the door and holding him down until police arrived. A very reckless course of action that we strongly advise against, but we absolutely encourage if it happens in a PSW ring.
