It is the final Saturday of November 2030. Psycho Style Wrestling, an upstart wrestling company based in the Isles of Volmun, has just had its first-ever event, the Saturday Night Super Fight Special in the city of Port, bringing the best wrestlers past and present from around the world together to do battle for the chance to lead this new company and carry an old legacy.

The first match on the card was a 16-person Escape-To-Victory Steel Cage Match to crown the inaugural PSW Tag Team Champions, which was won by Brigg, England's own Team Wallace: Axel Wallace, a veteran wrestler who has wrestled damn near everywhere in the world and has held at least 1 world title in 6 of the 7 titles, and his younger brother of five years, Oscar Z. Wallace, a collegiate wrestler who almost reached the Olympics. They are the sons of British technician "Big Dick" Wallace, known only in the most niche of wrestling circles.

They were joined in this match by:

  • The wily Tom Presley and powerhouse Dick Jagger of the rock 'n wrestling trio, Tom, Dick and Harry;
  • The "Maori Menace" Hunapo Henare and the "Tongan Terror" Kaivao Manu of the Madness;
  • The Track Queens: Elsa Filipsson and Evena Mustonen, a pair of former speed skating champions who wrestle on roller skates;
  • The Brazilian boyfriend-girlfriend duo of Marcelo Sousa and Luisa Festa;
  • Major Mallory and El Soldado, the Battalion Bros;
  • The Mother Hen of Holds, Kalavina Leota and her student, Maya Lethbridge;
  • And his Excellencies, the Emperor, Talon and the Perfectionist, Dennis Zázrak.

The match saw the Madness dominate with Axel ordering Oscar to climb out in the early goings. Presley managed to crawl out of the opening door with Filipsson leaping out after him. The two Polynesians would shut down any further escape attempts, opting to leave together with a pile of bodies in their wake. But when the door to the cage opened, Festa recovered and ran along the wall and vaulted over the big men to escape.

Henare got out, but Manu's legs were grabbed by Sousa, an expert in BJJ. The door was shut, and the Tongan made him suffer while Festa was made to watch by Henare. Oscar intervened, allying with Festa to brawl with the Maori on the outside. In the chaos, El Soldado managed to climb out of the cage. Manu tried to give chase, allowing Lethbridge to get out the door at her teacher's instruction.

Before Leota could follow, she was double-teamed by the Talon and Zázrak, the latter of whom shoved his partner out of the way and ran out of the cage, as well as the match. It was now done to the final representatives of each team, and in these final moments that everyone else forced themselves off the mat and made a mad dash up the walls.

Axel reached the top, followed by Jagger. He tried brawling with the big man, nearly getting thrown off in the process. So he raked the eyes and jumped down from the top of the cage to be caught by Oscar, winning the match and becoming the Tag Team Supreme. They did not have time to celebrate, however, as the lights in the arena had gone out.

When they came on, the fans were greeted by a shocking sight: The towering "Mother of Darkness", Tình Nhân, not seen in public since her career was ended in the mid-2000s, standing on the ramp with two gargantuans in masks behind her. She held up her famed "lantern of souls" and pointed at the Wallace brothers. An immediate challenge, which was immediately accepted by the veteran Axel.

The second match was a 30-person Battle Royale to determine the first-ever PSW Tectonic Championship, a belt demanding skill and competitive spirit. The last man standing? The malevolent Kraken Khan, a masked monster from the shores of Mumbai. At 6'9", 285lbs and with nearly 25 years in the business as well as a pedigree stretching back a century, Khan dominated. He secured 11 eliminations, including the returning Dennis Zázrak, who tried to sneak up on him at the end, on his way to being dubbed the Groundbreaker.

The third and penultimate match was a Championship Scramble for the PSW Jewell's Championship, the women's exclusive World Championship. The match started with two women, which would become 3, then 4, then 5, every 5 minutes, with an overall time limit of 30. Combatants could secure as many pinfalls and submissions as they desired, but only the final pinfall before the clock struck zero would count.

Among these 5 combatants was the great Ngozi: Empress of the Squared Circle, a Port Harcourt-born and London-raised warrior queen and multi-time World Champion whose technical and submission skill is said to have no equal. She started the match with a woman who could challenge that claim, the vile Queen Cobra from Black Pool. A serpentine striker and submission specialist, known for her near-contortionist-level flexibility and (non-lethal) venomous bite.

They were joined by the deadly domino-masked vigilante from Singapore, Zadie Chen and the cold and ruthless "Dark Talon" from Mombasa Island, with whom Chen had a long history as partners turned rivals. The final entrant was the "Socialite" Seraphina Dubois, a spoiled but skilled Quebecois with a lineage stretching back 4 generations in the business.

The match was quick and chaotic, every woman securing the advantage, but never being able to keep it as the seconds wound down. It was in the final 10 that Ngozi pinned Dubois with a Piledriver, and in the final five that Cobra surprised her with a crucifix pin and escaped the ring just as the bell rang to end the match. And so it was that Queen Cobra was crowned the Bearer of the Jewell.

Cobra snatched the title and clung to it like a lifeline, while Ngozi looked on in frustration in disgust. An equally frustrated Athiambo thought to take advantage of the Empress's pre-occupation. A sharp glare from Zadie Chen made her reconsider, and leave with the ring. This protective gesture did not escape the Empress' notice. She gave Chen a smile and a nod. Chen gave her a bow before taking her own leave.

The main event of the evening was a Six-Man Gauntlet Match for the PSW World Dominion Championship, the Men's Heavyweight Championship of the World. As its name suggests, the one who holds it holds a great deal of power. The first entrant was the beloved Kala Kahuna, a veteran powerhouse from the isles of Hawaii. He faced off against the "Moscow Machine", Ioseph Khrushchev, a powerlifting champion turned Sambo champion, who decided to make the jump to pro wrestling under the name Kruscher.

The two colossi clashed, standing at 6'1" and 6'5", and weighing in at 286 and 290, respectively. They traded stiff blows and loud slams. Kahuna dominated the early going with his experience. He was known for his chilled personality until it was time to "turn it on". Unfortunately for him, the Russian always turned on and he got the big Hawaiian up for Military Press, only to bring him down with a HUGE Spinebuster -a move he called Krusch Landing- and pinned him.

With Kahuna eliminated, it was time for the next entrant was Gary Wildman. Hailing from the concrete jungles of Staten Island, New York, standing 6'2" and weighing in at 275lbs, with a mean moustache, a big mouth and 30-inch pythons. An old school power fighter who fell to the might of the man from Moscow.

The next man to come down that ramp was Honey Badger. What he lacked, given the circumstances of this match, was size. At only 5'6" and barely 218, one would be forgiven for thinking this a reprieve for Kruscher. But on top of some sick sideburns and a bad attitude, the Limpopo-native was tough. Really tough. Nothing the big man did could keep him down for long, including Krusch Landing. So Kruscher went for a new move, an Oklahoma Stampede known as Nepobodimost', which saw him hold Badger in the bodyslam position while ramming him into opposing corners over and over before hitting the slam and pinning him.

Exhaustion was kicking in when the next opponent came. A young athlete from Benguela, Angola, known only as Seth, who had actually been sitting in the crowd, watching the show, dressed in a basketball jersey and shorts. He made his way down with an apparent nonchalance that frustrated the Kruscher.

At 6'4" and 249lbs, Seth was no small man, but what stood out about him in this field was his insane speed and agility. He bounced around the ring, ducking and dodging the Russian's swings, only to reveal his own power when he got Kruscher up on his shoulders for a GTS. He dropped the big man face-first on his knee and went for the pin, but Kruscher kicked out, having gotten a second wind.

Seth went for a springboard moonsault off the ropes, only to be caught and powerslammed for the 3-count. Kruscher picked Seth up by the hair and roughly tossed him out of the ring like a piece of trash, earning the displeasure of the crowd as he called for the last man.

That man was Vito Montani. 6'7", 267lbs, absolutely shredded with fast hands and a sharp tongue, and he wasn't alone. With him was Cody K. Olwagen, his tag team partner, his hype man, and his lieutenant. That's right, these men were gangsters, the Streetwise Krew, and they played dirty. They came closer than anyone to putting the Russian down, but in the end Montani was Krusched.

Kruscher kicked the New Jersey native out of the ring and demanded to be handed his title. But instead of his own music being heard and the announcement of his name, he heard the music of the seventh man. A surprise entrant in this gauntlet, kept under wraps to all but those in the highest halls of management.

Paul Grizzly, the 6'11", 437-pound hairy beast man from CPGW, one of the biggest professional wrestling organisations on the planet. Hailing from the Canadian state of Saskatchewan, he is said to possess the strength of a full-grown Kodiak bear. Kruscher, having gone through 5 top contenders, was no match for him and due to his conduct, had no sympathy from the crowd.

After squeezing the life out of the Russian with his trademark Bearhug, Grizzly dropped him to the mat and was handed the championship. He planted a foot on Kruscher's chest to mark his arrival and held the belt high as the Holder of Dominion.

When the Saturday Night Super Fight came to a close, a message had been sent:

Psycho Style Wrestling was here!

But now that a new ecosystem has been established and its top predators have arrived, there is still one lingering question:

What is next?
