The first thing you notice about this woman is her near-uncanny facial resemblance to an owl. More often than not, it is the last thing you see before you wake up to the bright lights overhead.
Unsurprisingly, she was bullied as a child for this. That pain fueled her transformation into a cold and ruthless weapon, the Dark Talon. Like many a great striker, she cut her teeth in Japan, where she met the Blind Archer for whom she developed a protective affection.
The two of them would head to Singapore and join the LDCC (Lion's Den Combat Club), a promotion belonging to the Archer's father, Arthur Chen. They were his loyal bodyguards, enforcing his will whenever a wrestler stepped out of line. Kind of like the Agents from the Matrix, a film which had its 2nd anniversary on the day she was born and where her gear comes from.
During a match for the LDCC Women's Tag Team Championships, the Archer suffered a brain injury that restored her sight and gave her a sense of "honour" that made the two of them incompatible. So she struck out on her own and became the LDCC Women's Champion for a year before leaving the promotion for new horizons. Our horizons.
Like the animal with whom she shares a resemblance, Athiambo is a fast and powerful predator who will exploit any weakness.
