A loud siren is heard, followed by an aggressive rock track. The titantron goes black, with a strange red and blue aura. A bright red rose fades into view. Sarah Esposito marches out, her eyes burning with a cold, focused fury.
A.B.: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the Madhouse. Earlier tonight, we saw the reigning Jewell's Champion Empress Ngozi lay down the law, which led to this match being made. Sarah Esposito is looking for payback.
Shamoon: Payback for being outsmarted and overwhelmed by the numbers game last week, which resulted in a loss that should NOT be on her record.
Briar Lane: On the way to the ring, from Nueva Italia, Michoacán, Mexico, standing 6 feet 1 and weighing 230 pounds, "The Rose of Ferocity", Sarah Esposito!
Sarah punches the ground, triggering her pyro, and marches directly to the ring, never taking her eyes off the entrance ramp.
Shamoon: If I ever find myself on this woman’s bad side, just shoot me. It’ll probably be quicker and less painful.
Alvarez: I don’t know. Maybe Maharaj had a point last week. Maybe Esposito just isn’t as advertised.
Esposito jogs up the steps and hops over the top rope, lands with a thud, and glares at the tunnel. The bright pink and yellow of Shay Maharaj’s entrance video fills the screen. "The Untouchable" one walks out to loud boos.
Briar Lane: And her opponent, from Kolkata, West Bengal, India, standing 5 feet 8 and weighing 160 pounds, "The Untouchable" Shay Maharaj!
A.B.: I hope for her sake she hasn’t written yet another cheque she can’t cash here tonight.
Dominga: They don’t call her "Untouchable" for nothing, Alf.
A.B.: No one calls her that but her! What does that even mean, anyway? It certainly can't be because of her in-ring record.
Shay climbs the apron, blows a kiss, and enters the ring.
Referee Fabiola Aquarone calls for the bell to ring.
Maharaj, seeing the look on Esposito’s face, quickly exits the ring. Esposito stays put, just watching her. Maharaj backs up the ramp as the referee starts the 10-count.
Shamoon: I guess her strategy is to run away and take a countout loss?
Dominga Alvarez: No, she's luring Esposito out. There's no way she'll be content with a countout victory. She wants to prove a point.
Shamoon: Then why isn't Sarah moving?
Dominga: She's putting on a front. Trust me, Esposito will run out of that ring before the count ends.
The count reaches seven. Maharaj is high up the ramp now. Esposito still does not move. When the referee counts eight, the Rose calmly turns her back to the Untouchable one. Maharaj’s defiant expression turns to one of frustration. She briskly runs back to the ring, sliding in just before the count of ten. She stands in the centre and taunts the back of Sarah Esposito, unaware that the latter is now smirking.
A.B.: It seems Shay Maharaj is the one who needs to control her emotions. She’s trying to prove that Esposito doesn’t scare her.
Shamoon: That’s funny. I don't feel convinced.
Shay makes the mistake of moving closer. Sarah spins around and dashes forward, grabbing her, lifting her with ease, and driving her into the opposing corner with immense force, knocking the wind out of her.
A.B.: Esposito, driving Maharaj into the corner after suckering her in completely!"
Maharaj doubles over, and Esposito immediately gets her in a gutwrench position
A.B.: Esposito with that signature Gutwrench Powerbomb! She calls it Zona Muerta! DEATH ZONE!
Esposito then takes both Maharaj's legs and folds her in half with a stacked pin.
Acquarone: 1! 2! 3!
Shamoon: Like I said. Not twice.
Dominga: I... I misjudged her. Esposito was all business tonight.
A.B.: Indeed. Sarah Esposito winning convincingly and avenging her loss from last week, as well as the cowardly sneak attack that preceded it!
Shamoon: I love it when you're wrong.
Dominga: Hey, I've never claimed to know everything.
Shamoon: Sure do act like it though.
Dominga: What was that?
Shamoon: Nothing!
Esposito gets her hand raised and makes her way out of the ring as the crowd cheers her dominant performance.
Crowd: TOE TASI LE TAIMI! TOE TASI LE TAIMI! TOE TASI LE TAIMI!
Dominga: Wait, what are they saying?
Esposito stops halfway through the ropes, frowning as she attempts to understand their words.
Kalavina Leota (o.s.): One more time.
The crowd pops at the sound of the Mother Hen of Holds' voice, and pops even louder when she steps out onto the field, still wearing the neck brace and an ula necklace over it.
Leota (holding up a finger): Dey're saying one more time.
Esposito looks at the crowd, then back inside the ring at Maharaj, who is just starting to stir. She considers it.
A.B.: Well, don't just stand there. Give the people what they want!
Dominga: Wait, hold on a second. There's no actual proof that they said that. And even if they did, if they tell you to jump off a bridge, are you going to do it?
Esposito re-enters the ring and points at Maharaj, before holding up that same finger and looking out at the crowd.
Esposito: One more time?
Crowd: YEAH!
Crowd: YEAH!
Esposito then picks up the groggy Maharaj, and hits another, even more impactful, Zona Muerta to roaring approval. Leota simply nods and heads to the back.
A.B.: It's true what they say about payback, isn't it?
Esposito climbs the turnbuckle and throws her fists up, celebrating with the fans.
Dominga Alvarez: Well... when you win, you get to rub it in.
Shamoon: Hey, that's another rhyme.
Dominga: ...I am aware.
