PSW Madhouse Episode 6 - Jessie Moore vs Sarah Esposito

Briar Lane: Your main event of the evening is a number 1 contender's match scheduled for one fall! The winner will go on to challenge for the PSW Jewell's Championship at the Valentine's Brawl!

A bombastic regal theme plays, and the Hagenites rise to their feet and scream. Ngozi strides onto the stage, clad in a purple tracksuit and her signature orange visor sunglasses, with the Jewell's Championship around her waist, a microphone in hand, and her head held higher than her 6-foot frame should allow.

She spreads her arms, taking in the cheers as the camera pans around her and follows her down the ramp.

Briar Lane: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome your special guest commentator, the Bearer of the Jewell, Ngozi - Empress of the Squared Circle!

Ngozi gives the fans a royal wave, and they only cheer louder; some even bow.

A.B.: She is a living legend! A fighting champion! The most technically gifted athlete this sport has ever seen, and tonight she will witness the crowning of her next challenger at the Valentine's Brawl!

As she makes her way down the ring, Ngozi shakes hands with fans, even stopping to compliment a young girl wearing visors identical to her own.

Dominga: I mean, if she were really a fighting champion, she would have been wrestling tonight.

Balducci glares.

Dominga: With respect!

After signing an autograph, the Empress quickens her pace towards the commentary desk.

A.B.: Aaz, give your seat. Take the spare headset.

Shamoon: What? Why me?

A.B.: Aaz...

Shamoon: ... (takes off headset and stands up)

Ngozi approaches the desk and stops. Shamoon just weakly smiles and gestures at what was his seat.

Ngozi: Oh! Thank you.

Shamoon (mouths): My pleasure...

Ngozi comes around as Shamoon takes a spare seat and the spare headset usually reserved for guests in situations like these.

A.B. (stands): Welcome. (takes her hands and kisses her)

Alvaréz qickly stands up and shakes Ngozi's hand. The Empress then takes off the title, sets it down on the table before taking what is now her seat, she sits and puts on the headset. Alf pushes in her chair before sitting down himself.

Ngozi: Can you all hear me?

A.B.: Loud and clear, love.

Ngozi: Excellent. Good evening, it is my absolute pleasure to join you. I am very excited for this match.

Dominga (forced toothy smile): Pleasure is all ours. Looking forward to hearing your insights.

The lights go out. A sinister Western song plays on the speakers. The showgrounds sit in darkness for 30 seconds before a gunshot is heard, startling some members of the audience.

At the same time, a spotlight shines down on Moore. She holds up the smoking revolver, her head hanging, allowing her hat to obscure the part of her face that isn't covered. She lifts her head, the red bandana hiding most of her face save for her eyes, which burn holes in everything as she slowly marches to the ring.

Briar Lane: Introducing first, from Salt Lake City, Utah, in the USA, standing 5 feet 11 and weighing in at 241 pounds, the "Outlaw" Jessie Moore!

A.B.: In the short history of this brand, this woman has proven herself to be one of the most vile and despicable individuals we have. Although she proved that a long time ago.

Dominga: She also proved to be one of the most formidable. She was the only one who survived Ngozi's gauntlet two weeks ago. With respect.

Ngozi: That... she did.

Shamoon: Guys, sh-she's coming over here.

Moore stalks around the ring, following the same path Ngozi took en route to the commentary desk. The young girl with Ngozi visors is loudly booing her, which prompts the Outlaw to look in her direction. The child only boos even louder.

Moore, with blinding hand speed, snatches the visor off the girl's face and snaps it half, making her cry.

Shamoon: Come on!

A.B.: Evil, hateful woman.

Ngozi: What did that even accomplish?

Dominga: HAHAHA- uh, I mean, that's just awful.

Moore then drops the broken visor and continues on her way to the desk. She stands right in front of it, staring the Empress down with hot, boiling hatred. Ngozi remains seated, but her jaw and her fists are clenched.

Eventually, the Outlaw turns around and climbs the steps to enter the ring.

Shamoon: GEEEEEEZ, that was scary.

Dominga: Seriously. Maybe you could remind everybody, with respect, what you did to make her so angry with you.

A.B. (pointing): She hasn't made her do anything!

Ngozi (placing a hand on his shoulder): Alf, dear, the question was for me. (looks at Alvaréz) I haven't made her do anything!

Shamoon: Well, I mean, if we go back to the original feud in 2014, when you were still going by "Queen Ngozi" and she was "Jessie the Kid". She was, I think, a year and a half into her career, and you... kinda, sorta, made her life hell.

Ngozi frowns.

Shamoon: With respect!

A.B.: That was-

Ngozi: Alf, please. I am not proud of the person that I was then, and in the end I got exactly what I deserved.

A.B.: Now, wait-

Ngozi: Alf, it's true. The beating I received in that Texas Death Match was exactly what I deserved; I own that. But the thing is, Mr Shamoon, when I lost that match and was contractually obligated to leave... the other company, I was prepared to move on. She was not. She has been in this business for 18 years, and for the last 16 of those has followed me to every promotion I have ever wrestled for, and while I was winning championship after world championship, her biggest claim to fame was her association, or more aptly put, obsession with me.

Dominga: Okay, wait a minute! With respect, that's incredibly reductive. She's a former World Champion in her own right. Four times, in fact. Sure, that's not as much as 15 (points at the Jewell), but it's not something to just gloss over. With respect!

Ngozi: I never said it was her only claim to fame. I said it was her biggest.

She climbs the opposite turnbuckle and spreads her arms to bring the rest of the lights back on.

Shamoon: Also, with respect, for as many as you've beaten Moore, you're actually kinda neck-and-neck. With respect-

A.B.: Okay, that's quite-

Ngozi: Hang on, Alf. (looks from Alvaréz to Shamoon) What is this "with respect" nonsense? You're commentators. If you have something to say, just say it.

Alvaréz and Shamoon both glare at Balducci, who stares straight ahead.

Ngozi: Alf...

A.B.: Sorry, can't hear you. Calling the main event.

Ngozi (sighs and shakes her head): We'll talk about this later. To your point, Mr Shamoon, for as many times as Jessie Moore has bested me, there is only one such occurrence in which she did so for a World Title, which I am currently holding. Do you recall when that happened?

Shamoon: ... 2014. The Texas Death Match.

Ngozi: Exactly.

Dominga: So, you're confident you can beat her when she wins tonight?

Ngozi: If she wins.

Moore, with her eyes again on Ngozi, drops her big black hat and throws off her brown sleeveless trench coat before coming off the turnbuckle.

A loud siren is heard, followed by an aggressive rock track that gets a mixed reaction. The titantron goes black, bathed in a strange red-and-blue aura. A bright red rose fades into view. Sarah Esposito marches out, her eyes burning with a cold, focused fury.

Briar Lane: Her opponent, from Nueva Italia de Ruiz, Michoacán, Mexico, standing 6 feet 1 and weighing 230 pounds, "The Rose of Ferocity", Sarah Esposito!

A.B. (clears throat): And there she is, the number 1 draft pick, the former 2x Desi Daru MMA Tournament Champion, with the biggest opportunity of her young career to become the number 1 contender for the top prize on our brand. Ngozi, what are your thoughts on this young lady?

Ngozi: Well, as I've said to you privately, she is a force to be reckoned with. She showed it two weeks ago in Samoa; she showed it on Episode 1; she showed it at the draft. She has all the tools and the credentials to be not just a champion, but the champion many times over or for a single very long time. Once I've retired, of course. (posh laugh)

Dominga: Okay, but how do you feel about her, though?

Ngozi: Hmm?

Dominga: I mean, she's a "big fan" of you. You guys have teamed up. You had the whole feud with you, her, and Chen on one side, and Cobra, Maharaj, and Moore on the other. Then last week, when she came up to you and asked your permission to get in Moore's face, and then she got absolutely buried-

Shamoon: We're not supposed to use that word.

Dominga: -I mean, she seems to think that there's a "mutual respect" between you, but what do you think?

A.B.: Dominga...

Dominga: What? I thought we could speak freely now!

A.B.: Freedom has its limits.

Ngozi: And so the man has spoken.

Dominga: Tch. Fine.

Esposito jogs up the steps and hops over the top rope and lands with a thud. She stares down Moore, who leans back against her own corner.

Deputy Head Referee Georgia Holliday stands in the centre, holding out her hands to prevent any pre-match violence, though she looks woefully incapable of stopping such if it were to occur. Thankfully, it doesn't.

*ding ding ding*

A.B.: There's the bell! Match-up underway!

Shamoon: No matter how anyone feels about these two. This is no doubt going to be a FIGHT!

Ngozi: On that, I think we can all agree.

Moore leaves her corner, makes huge arm circles, and holds up her fists. Esposito cracks her neck and rolls her shoulders, then drops into a wrestling stance. They circle each other for a little while before charging forward.

A.B.: And there's the lock-up in the centre of the ring! Collar-and-elbow; these two lionesses in a test of strength!

The two weighty women jostle and jockey for position, pushing and pulling and spinning until Moore forces Esposito's back against the corner and holds her there.

A.B.: And it's Moore winning the early exchange.

Shamoon: She's got a 10-pound weight advantage and a slightly lower centre of gravity, so it makes sense on paper, but we saw Esposito overpower Moore pretty easily on Episode 1.

Dominga: Back then it was late in a 6-woman tag match, and she caught Moore by surprise.

Ngozi: Hmm...

A.B.: Referee Holliday, now forcing the break.

Holliday forces her way in between the two and slowly pushes them apart. Moore raises her hands over her head, and then slaps Esposito. It is as loud as it is fast. Some fans boo, others pop.

Dominga: Hahaha!

Enraged, Esposito shoves past Holliday and locks up with Moore.

Ngozi: No, she's provoking you!

Esposito forces Moore against the ropes, but the Outlaw pushes back, pulls her sideways, and drives her into another corner, holding her in place again, forcing Holliday to break it again. Moore doesn't let go this time, shoving against Esposito's face.

Holliday: Alright, Moore, break it. 1! 2! 3! 4!

The Outlaw breaks and backs away, beckoning with both hands.

A.B.: Moore with the physical and psychological advantage in the early going.

Moore: Come awn, number 1 pick! Is that all ya gawt? (points at the commentary desk) Yo-wr hero's not lookin' too impressed.

Ngozi: Don't look over here. Don't look over here.

Esposito grits her teeth, then closes her lips and eyes briefly before coming out of the corner to lock up with Moore again.

A.B.: Third time's the charm. Can Esposito make any headway here?

The younger woman leans back and, with a loud roar, shoves Moore down to the mat.

The bouffant-haired Mexican-Italian roars again, flexing her huge, floral-tatted arms downward at the bewildered Outlaw. Some fans cheer, some fans boo, but they are loud.

A.B.: And she does it!

Ngozi: That's more like it.

Dominga: Huh, so you are invested in her after all?

Ngozi: Like I said, she has everything she needs to become a great name in this business. She just needs to get out of her head. She is easily flustered or distracted. When she locks in, as she just did, I struggle to find any woman who could realistically beat her. Apart from myself, of course.

Moore narrows her beady, lime-green eyes and stands up. Esposito steels her aqua-green eyes, steps back, and retakes her wrestling stance.

A.B.: It seems this might be more of a scientific contest than I initially predicted.

Ngozi: There's still time. Moore isn't stupid or sloppy, but she prefers her slugfests. Sarah would do well to employ some hard technique and finish this quickly.

Dominga: Wow, first-name basis and everything. Is there a "daughter I never had" situation going on there?

Ngozi: I happen to have given birth to 3 daughters of my own, all of whom I love dearly. I simply recognise her potential, and I want to see it grow.

Shamoon (chuckles): Any chance we'll be seeing them in that ring?

A.B.: When I'm dead. Esposito shooting for the Single Leg. Great block by the veteran Moore. Now Esposito with a go-behind. Rear Waistlock applied. Perhaps a German Suplex-but Moore with elbows to the temple; trying to force a release-and she does! And there's a Clothesline,

Dominga: That was wicked!

Shamoon: She's got the cover!

Holliday: One! Tw-

A.B.: Esposito kicks out!

Moore tries applying a grounded Sleeper, but Esposito blocks, slips out, and locks her in a grounded Front Facelock.

A.B.: Great technique there by Esposito, using that Amateur wrestling background.

Shamoon: Captain of her High School wrestling team for a reason. The men's team, by the way.

Dominga: Yeah, that was a slip-up by Moore.

Ngozi: As always, she overestimates herself.

Moore uses all her strength to drag herself and Esposito to the ropes, where she rests her foot on them. Esposito doesn't release. In fact, she squeezes tighter.

Moore (chokes out): Git her awff me!

Holliday: Alright, Esposito, let her go. One! Two! Three! Fo-!

The hold is released. Moore rolls out of the ring, gasping for air, while Esposito gets up to one knee.

A.B.: Esposito needs to be careful not to get disqualified here.

Shamoon: She's giving Moore a taste of her own medicine.

Ngozi: Winning is more important than petty reprisal.

Holliday: Hey! When I tell you to break the hold, you break the freaking hold, got it?!

Esposito: I got it.

Holliday: I expect that sh** from her, not you!

Esposito (stands): I know! I know. I'm sorry.

As the Outlaw recovers on the outside, the Rose of Ferocity goes to the adjacent side and runs around the corner of the ring to Clothesline her on the outside. However, the gunslinger's reflexes are too quick, and she ducks.

Esposito stops and turns back, but Moore kicks her in the gut and grabs her for a DDT. The Rose quickly grabs Moore's waist and drives her back-first into the apron. Moore yelps and then starts raining down clubbing blows on Esposito's back, so Esposito releases the waistlock and stands up so she can trade blows with Moore. The crowd goes wild for the brawl as Holliday urges them to get back into the ring.

A.B.: And there it is! The slugfest we've been waiting for- and Moore with fingers to the eyes. And now an Irish Whip, sending Esposito into the steps!

The Outlaw returns to the ring, and Holliday starts her 10-count.

Holliday: 1...

Shamoon: Whoa. Look at those welts on Moore's face just from that quick brawl.

Holliday: 2...

A.B.: Why do you think she poked her in the eye? If they had continued, Esposito would have won that exchange.

Dominga: Yep, you gotta give credit to the Outlaw's instincts in the heat of the moment. Don't you think, Ngozi?

A.B.: Dominga.

Holliday: 5...

Dominga: What, I am literally asking her about the match. You know, the one she booked because she refused to accept Moore's challenge and as a way to have Esposito do her dirty work for her?

A.B.: You're really pushing it- Esposito makes it back into the ring at the count of 7.

Ngozi: I booked this match, Ms Alvaréz, because I was presented with two challengers.

A.B.: And now Moore, bringing an elbow down on Esposito's head.

Dominga: You started with one challenger, and you refused her right up until she threatened to break your neck, which you have a long history with. With respect.

Ngozi: I thought we were done with that.

Dominga: It's so your husband doesn't strangle me when the broadcast ends.

A.B.: And now a soccer kick to the side! It's true.

Shamoon: I think she might have got her in the kidney! And she's stomping away! She's stomping on Esposito like she's putting out a fire!

Ngozi: I admit, I allowed her to bait me, but refused Moore's initial challenge, because it's pointless. No matter how many times I beat her, or she beats me, she's never satisfied; she's always coming back. We've battled in every corner of the map for nearly two decades, and it has never been enough for her. There is no benefit to this brand in yet another contest.

Dominga: Or maybe, just maybe there's a part of you, not all, but just a tiny part that's just a little bit scared that she might finally beat you in the only way that matters? With respect.

Ngozi: ... First, she has to win tonight.

Dominga: And what if-

A.B.: E-Nough.

Dominga: ...

Shamoon: Moore's got the cover. Esposito kicks out. Hey, how about we focus on the match, hey?

Moore grabs Esposito's ankle and drags her over to the corner. She rolls out of the ring while keeping hold of the ankle and slams the inside of said ankle against the steel ring post, again and again. Esposito screams in pain with Holliday trying to tell Moore off, but she can do little more than start the 10-count.

Dominga: Now, this is great strategy by Moore. You damage the leg, you take away the power, but you take away some of that mat wrestling too.

Moore breaks re-enters the ring at the count of 6 and then starts stomping away on the grounded Esposito.

Holliday: Knock it off, Moore! One! Two! Three-

Instead of finishing the count, the Head Ref starts physically pushing Moore away.

Moore: DON'T TOUCH ME!

Holliday: DO WHAT I TELL YOU AND QUIT BREAKING THE RULES!

Moore: AH KNOW THUH BLAME RULES, AH AIN'T BROKEN A BLAME ONE!

Holliday (points away): BACK OFF, OR I'M THROWING THIS OUT AND GIVING THIS TO HER!

Moore: Ah dare ya!

A.B.: Moore is wasting valuable time arguing with the referee.

Ngozi: And that's one of her many problems. For all of her experience, she's just as prone to tantrums as any rookie.

Moore feigns a backhand, making Holliday flinch before finally making space as ordered.

Holliday scowls, then checks on Esposito, who is starting to get up, and waves the referee off. Moore comes back, but before she can do anything, Sarah lunges for Double Leg.

Moore tries to sprawl, but Esposito shifts her position and lifts her off the ground with another roar that gets a pop from the crowd. Moore's eyes nearly pop out of her skull before Esposito slams her back down.

Ngozi: Excellent!

A.B.: So much for taking away the power! Great Wrestling Takedown by Esposito on top, and now she's pounding away!

Dominga: Hey, ref! Those are closed fists!

Shamoon: Since when do you care about closed fists?

Ngozi: Since when does anyone care about closed fists?

A.B.: And now Esposito with forearms to face. My God, she's trying to cave her skull in! Moore is barely able to block!

Shamoon: Moore called Esposito a can-crusher. Bet she didn't think she'd be the can!

Holliday eventually pulls Esposito off. The Rose limps away to the ropes, while the ref checks on the Outlaw.

A.B.: Esposito getting some feeling back in that ankle.

Shamoon: Moore's starting to roll out of the ring.

Esposito rushes in and grabs Moore's leg, keeping her from reaching the end of the ring. She then brings her elbow down on that leg. She stands up and does it again, then again and again, and again, each time faster and with more force, while also moving and turning Moore around, inch by inch.

A.B.: Esposito is now using Moore's own strategy against her, perhaps setting her up for that Grapevine Ankle Lock.

Ngozi: She's finally fighting smart. If she keeps this up, she may very well win this match.

Dominga: What's your strategy if she does?

Ngozi: For one, I would avoid this predicament.

Dominga: Are you saying you're a better wrestler than Esposito?

Ngozi: I am a better professional wrestler than anyone who stands before me, until I'm not.

A.B.: Well said, Empress.

Esposito tries to turn Moore onto her stomach for the Ankle Lock, but the Outlaw mule kicks her away and crawls to the side of the ring where the commentary desk sits just outside, grabs the ropes, and prompts Holliday to block Esposito's attempted re-engagement.

Dominga: Is it fair to say that she's a better wrestler at this stage of her career than you were?

Ngozi: ... It... would be.

Dominga: You wonder if that's why Shabani picked her first at the draft instead of you?

The Nueva Italian keeps her distance, for just long enough for the Outlaw to get to her feet under her. Then she charges.

A.B.: What a knee by Esposito! Knocking Moore back to the outside! What are you trying to accomplish, Alvaréz?

Dominga: It's something people have been questioning for the last two months. I mean, people were shocked and angry, and in every city we've been to, there's always a segment of fans booing her because of it. It's why I keep asking about your relationship. What exactly is going on?

Shamoon: Esposito's on the top turnbuckle!

Dominga: She's a high-flyer now?

The Rose waits for more to rise slightly, then leaps down for a Double Axehandle, but Moore straightens and punches her in the gut, which gets a loud pop and some boos. The downward and upward forces knock the wind out of the young, heavy fighter.

Ngozi: That is why you stick to your strengths. There is nothing "going on", Ms Alvaréz. The draft was a meaningless ceremony; I sit here as the Jewell's Champion, regardless of anyone's position on a roster sheet. As for the audience reactions, paying customers are free to cheer or boo whoever they like.

Dominga: Yeah. Completely unrelated, there are quite a few Jessie Moore fans in Mount Hagen.

Ngozi: As I said, they can cheer who they like.

Moore, her bandana having come loose, exposing the bottom half of her face, the freckles, the bruises and bumps, and the gap in her front teeth as she pants with her hands on her knees.

She turns her gaze to the commentary desk, straightens and stares down Ngozi again.

Shamoon: Oh, not again.

Ngozi: Focus on your opponent; why don't you? Or get back in the ring. You haven't won yet.

Balducci places a hand on the Empress' shoulder.

Holliday: Let's bring it back in the ring, ladies! 1... 2...

Moore turns away from the desk, grabs Esposito by the hair, and drags her back to the ring.

Shamoon: LOOK OUT!

Moore sends Esposito flying like a missile over the table and straight into Ngozi's face, knocking Balducci down as he tries to shield her. The Jewell's Championship is flattened, but remains on the table.

The Outlaw smirks and rolls back into the ring.

Shamoon: Dammit, that crazy b-

Dominga: Say it! Just say it!

Shamoon: Alf, Ngozi, are you okay?!

Dominga: Moore's just won this match-up, and she got one over on the Empress.

Shamoon: Holliday's only at a count of 5!

Dominga: Esposito's out! She's not going to make it.

Holliday: 6...

Esposito stirs and pushes off the pile. Moore is sitting down in the ring, breathing heavily.

Holliday: 7...

She forces herself up, pushing over the desk and the monitors and sending the Jewell toppling to the grass. Moore's eyes widen for a moment, and then she undoes the lacing of her right boot as Esposito stumbles backwards and falls.

A.B.: Ngozi, honey, are you alright?

Ngozi: ...

Holliday: 8...

Dominga: She's not going to make it, I told you!

Shamoon: Two more seconds!

Esposito turns over and crawls to the ring. Moore stands up, readying herself.

A.B. (helps Ngozi up and adjusts headset): Can you two hear me? Damn, Jessie Moore.

Dominga: All good.

Shamoon: Esposito's got a hand on the apron.

Holliday: 9...

A.B.: And Esposito beats the count!

Moore waits for the cherry-haired warrior to get up to her hands and knees, and aims a punt kick straight at her face.

A.B.: Caught! Esposito caught the kick!

Shamoon: Moore telegraphed it too much.

Esposito holds Moore's leg as she slowly gets to her feet. Moore hops on one foot while desperately trying to swing her fists to no avail.

Moore (holding up both hands, mouthing): Okay, wait! Let's tawk jus' tawk about this for a second.

Shamoon: Moore's begging!

Ngozi: She never begs... Oh no-

Esposito grins, then twists and pulls Moore's foot, trying to apply the Ankle Lock from a standing position.

And Moore's boot comes off, the sheer force of the pull sending Esposito stumbling away with it in her hands.

A.B.: Moore's boot came loose! B-But- HOW?!

Shamoon: She- She untied it! SHE UNTIED IT DURING THE 10-COUNT!!!

Dominga: BRILLANTE!

Esposito just stands, stunned, with a cowboy boot in her hand and a rose-symbol back, facing the Outlaw!

Ngozi: Sarah! SARAH, TURN AROUND!!!

Moore clocks Esposito from behind with her signature Rolling Elbow!

A.B.: BIME-BY! BIME-BY TO THE BACK OF THE SKULL!

The Rose of Ferocity's eyes glaze over as she collapses forward against the ropes.

Ngozi (through gritted teeth): No... No!

Moore pulls her away from them, to the centre of the ring. She holds Esposito in Front Facelock and drapes her arm over her head for a standard Vertical Suplex. Moore shoots one more look at the commentary table, makes a throat-slicing motion with her free hand, which ends in her pointing finger guns at the Empress.

Shamoon: Moore with the warning shot!

Moore lifts Esposito up for the Suplex and holds her up for a moment.

Dominga: Damas y caballeros, you know what time it is?

Moore lets Esposito fall forward, face-first into her knee.

Dominga, Shamoon and half the crowd: HIGH NOON!!!

Moore pins Esposito and hooks the leg.

Holliday: 1! 2! 3! Ring the bell!

Briar Lane: Here is your winner, JESSIE MOORE!

The sinister Western theme returns. Holliday tries to help Moore up so she can raise her hand, but the Outlaw shoves her off.

The sound of a headset hitting the ground is heard.

Shamoon: Well, like it or not Jessie Moore is the number 1 cont-Whoawhoawhoawhoa!

As Moore raises her own hand in victory, Ngozi rolls into the ring behind her, unzipping and ripping off her track jacket to reveal the white tank top underneath and her own muscular arms.

Dominga: Hey! Hey! This is unsanctioned aggression!

A.B.: Shut up, Alvaréz! GET HER ASS, NGOZI! PLANT HER THICK SKULL THROUGH THE DAMN MAT!

Ngozi spins Moore around, kicks her in the gut, pulls her head between her legs and wraps her arms around her waist.

A.B.: PILEDRIVER! An emphatic statement by the Empress! You haven't won a damn thing, Moore! Just another in a long line of well-deserved whoopings!

Ngozi stands up to a standing ovation as her bombastic, regal theme fills the arena. She walks to the ropes and gestures for Balducci to bring her title.

A.B. (takes off headset): On it!

He picks the belt off the ground, wiping it clean of grass before he hands it to her.

Ngozi: My glasses too, please.

Balducci goes back and collects her orange visor, which had fallen off during the chaos. He hands it to Ngozi, who leaves the ring and approaches the girl from earlier, who is cheering louder than everybody. The Empress places the visor on the young girl's head and pats her on the cheek before returning to the ring.

Shamoon: That's a class act right there.

Dominga: Oh barf!

Shamoon: You should probably run.

Balducci stands in front of them, simultaneously clapping for the Empress while sending death glares at Alvaréz.

Dominga: ... (throws off headset and sprints to the back)

Esposito is helped out, as is Moore, so that the Empress can stand in the ring, raise her ring and raise her championship, for she alone reigns supreme, at least for now. Here, in the Monday Night Madhouse.

@ShabaniMustGo • 7m Number 1 Draft Pick btw 💀 Esposito just got completely exposed by a 39-year-old. Shabani is literally the worst GM in combat sports history. How do you draft some MMA fighter #1 over the literal Empress of the Squared Circle (who went on to become World Champion a couple weeks later), and she can't even win a #1 contender fight?

@TKO_Todd Nalah Shabani is having a panic attack right now. She banked her whole brand on Esposito, and the girl choked. First Luisa Festa wins Bloodbath title after Roger Evans (who is lucky to be alive) puts Ethan Stewart through a table, then the Vités-Heladas riot, the Jabbars making a mockery of their suspension, the Drako Triad literally setting the ring on fire, now this. Madhouse is falling apart.

@FightFanatic_NZ Can't WAIT for the Valentine's Brawl down here in Dunedin! Moore vs Ngozi is going to be a bloodbath. 17 years of bad blood coming to a head. Someone's career is ending in New Zealand! 🇳🇿🔥

@GrappleGuru_31 Jessie Moore untying her boot during the ref’s 10-count is the highest fight IQ I’ve seen since PSW launched. 18 years in the trenches vs a 23-year-old rookie. Esposito got absolutely COOKED on the mental plane tonight. 💀🧠 #PSWMadhouse

  • @RoseArmy_Forever Replying to @GrappleGuru_31 Cooked? Sarah was literally destroying her physically. Moore had to cheat to survive because she knew her leg was about to get snapped.
    • @GrappleGuru_31 Replying to @RoseArmy_Forever It’s a fight, bro. Adapt or get slept. Sarah stood there holding a boot like a lost tourist.

@EmpressHive Can we talk about Jessie Moore snatching a literal child’s visor and breaking it?! She is pure, unadulterated evil. Seeing Ngozi drop her with that Piledriver fed my soul. 👑🔥

@FightMark33 People calling Esposito a bust as the #1 pick are delusional. She tossed a 240lb vet around like a sack of potatoes. Just needs to get her head straight.

@FightMatrix_Daily The Outlaw does it! Jessie Moore survives the No. 1 Draft Pick and punches her ticket to The Valentine's Brawl. But we need to talk about that finish. Untying the boot during the referee's 10-count so Esposito would pull it clean off on the Ankle Lock? 200 IQ veteran move. 18 years in the trenches just beat raw power. #PSWMadhouse #MooreVsEsposito

  • @SarahsRoseGarden Replying to @FightMatrix_Daily Are you kidding me??? That wasn't a veteran move; that was a straight-up glitch in the rulebook! Sarah had her dead to rights. If that boot stays on, Moore’s ankle gets snapped. Esposito got robbed. 🥀😡
    • @OutlawCountry31 Replying to @SarahsRoseGarden Cry more lmaoooo. Your MMA girl got outsmarted by a Granny Smith & Wesson. BIME-BY to the back of the head! See ya in Dunedin, rookie! 🤠🔫
@MatCritique Dominga Alvaréz is the real MVP of Episode 6. She sat right next to the Empress and asked every single question the fans have been begging to hear since the draft. "Are you scared she might finally beat you in the only way that matters?" COOK HER, DOMINGA. COOK HER. 🔥🎙️

@CombatZone_Central Just a brutal night for Sarah Esposito. First, she gets completely boxed in by The Madness backstage and has to be saved by security, then she gets out-chess-matched by Moore in the main event. Being the #1 pick is a heavy crown. She’s only 23, but the pressure from Nalah Shabani is breaking her.

  • @Scrap_Junkie99 Replying to @CombatZone_Central Honestly, Shabani is the worst GM in combat sports right now. She practically begged Esposito to win because she's terrified of having Moore as the face of the brand. Now Nalah has a bruised prodigy and a No. 1 Contender who wants to murder her champion. Total administrative collapse. 📉
