The cameraman finds himself in a dark room with candles everywhere. He steps around them, carefully, taking deep breaths as he approaches a very tall chair. He walks around, but finds no one sitting there.
The candles slowly go out, darkening the room further and further until he can see nothing. He looks around, trying to leave, but not knowing which way is out, frost forming with every heavy breath, soft crunching noises with every step, until his feet become rooted to the floor.
Then the light returns, but it is not the same. It is blue, like the ice. The silhouette of the Thunderweight Champion, El Demonio de las Heladas, passes by. The light follows him, for his eyes are the source, though he does not look at the cameraman, only at his belt, its golden lightning patterns shining almost as brightly.
Heladas: They say that time waits for no man, but I am no man. And yet, I grow tired of waiting.
The cameraman's panicked breaths continue as the lens of his camera begins to frost up.
Heladas: I look down into the sea of challengers... and I see none.
He finally turns around to look at the camera. The cameraman gasps and hyperventilates as the Demon steps closer and closer and closer.
Heladas: Soon, I will come down from my throne... I will walk among you... and I will find... a victim, instead.
The camera dies right as its operator lets out a terrified scream.
Arena
Shamoon: That... That cameraman's okay, right? Right?
Dominga: Yeah, I'm sure Heladas gave him a nice warm hug, told him everything's gonna be okay and sent him on his merry way.
Shamoon (wipes his brow): Oh, thank goodness.
Balducci and Alvarez just stare at him for a moment with drooping eyelids.
Shamoon: What?
A.B. (to camera): Believe me, me when I say, ladies and gentlemen, that man means exactly what he says. The thing about the Thunderweight title is that it casts a much wide net on both shows, especially here on the Madhouse, the more female-focused show. I strongly advise all of you in the back to exercise extreme caution in the coming weeks.
Dominga: Or they can, you know, challenge him for his title? Step up or get stepped on!
A.B.: On that front, they need to proceed with even greater caution, but now we go from the Thunderweight Division to the Tag Division. Let's take you back to last week. Our premier episode kicked off with the an interesting bout: the speed skating duo of Elsa Filipsson and Eeva Mustonen, two more students of Kalavina Leota (looks at Alvarez, who rolls her eyes), taking on twin brothers of internet celebrity, Chakir and Chelem Jabbar.
Dominga: I'll admit, I went into that one expecting nonsense, but the roller skaters brought it! The vloggers on the other hand...
The video replay showing highlights from the match appears on the titantron. A combination of the Eeva hitting leg kicks on Chakir; Elsa hitting a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Chelem; Elsa Matrix-dodging a Chelem's Roundhouse Kick and rolling him up for a 2; Elsa dodging Chelem's wild swings with ease while skating backwards around the ring; Elsa subtly tagging Eeva in while pretending to fall over; Eeva hitting a Missile Dropkick on Chelem; Elsa hitting a Tiger Feint Kick on Chelem when he's draped on the ropes; Chakir slapping Elsa in the butt and getting a enziguri for to the face as well as Diving Dropkick through the ropes on the outside; Eeva hitting a Phoenix Splash on Chelem to win the match.
A.B.: After an incredible, if not fairly one-sided victory from the self-titled Track Queens and a moment of camaraderie between the four participants-
Dominga (attempting to throw up): A selfie! They were taking a SELFIE!
Shamoon: What's wrong with that?
Dominga: EVERYTHING!
A.B.: -they were brutally assaulted by the terrifying trio of the Tongan Terror, Kaivao Manu, the Maori Menace, Hunapo Henare, and their "Big Sister", the Samoan Sicko, Lulu Asovale.
Dominga: The Madness!
The video shows the three powerful Polynesians performing stereo Samoan spikes on Elsa, Eeva and Chakir; hitting a Triple Powerbomb on Chelem; Asovale screaming "WELCOME TO THE MAAADHOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSEEE!!!!"
Dominga: And thank God for them. I was already giving up on this show before they showed up.
Shamoon: Seriously, what is wrong with you?
A.B.: Now, as I was leaving the arena, I happened to catch wind of the heated discussion in the trainer's room, where the Track Queens AND JabbarTV BOTH demanded matches against the Madness here tonight, each citing why they deserve it more than the other.
Shamoon: They WHAT?!
Dominga: What's wrong with me? What's with THEM? Didn't they get enough?
A.B.: So our GM, Nalah Shabani, decided to give both teams what they wanted. This morning, on bLast, she announced a Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match between the three teams and that match... is NEXT!
