PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Dennis Zázrak & Seth vs Kraken Khan

Sara Jr finally walks up the ramp with some people in the crowd chanting "YOU SUCK!" over and over. Other fans cheer and even clap for her. Most of them don't care much one way or another. She walks even faster.

SDS: It has been a rough night, largely due to the fallout from last week, which includes our next match, which Jeffrey Campbell announced in his conversation with Sara Blood Jr.

The two big screens show a video montage of the confrontation.

We see the Tectonic Champion, Dennis Zázrak posing under a single spotlight, fresh off defeating Job R. Smith by crushing his hand until he tapped out. We see the former champion, Kraken Khan, storm down.

Khan (pointing, voice deep and growling): You... have something that belongs to me... boy!

Zázrak looks at his own body in confusion.

Khan (holds out his open free hand): And you will HAND IT to me, or I will personally hand... you head to your dear old dad, Martin...

Zázrak (frowns): Who... do you think you are, you ugly, old, masked freak?! You come down to Zázrak's ring, interrupt Zázrak's moment and threaten Zázrak? The Champion? The Groundbreaker?

Kraken: I threaten the coward who ran away like a thief in the night after STEALING my Tectonic Championship!

Zázrak: Zázrak did not run away from YOU at Ascension on Sunday. No, it was... a tactical retreat. Zázrak had already gotten what he came for, and he had no reason to engage in a meaningless street brawl like some-

Khan: SILENCE! You WILL give me back my title or I-

We then see Seth making his way through the crowd. We see Khan shoving Zázrak out of the way to confront Seth. We see Brendan Steele and his men try to intervene, only for Seth to effortlessly leap over them and initiate an insane brawl that sees the monster throwing Steele's men around like toys.

The brawl ends with Seth sending Khan face-first into the ring post with a Drop Toe Hold before pointing at Zázrak and making a belt motion.

SDS: Seth making his intentions clear. Kraken Khan demanding his title back. If Dennis Zázrak thought he'd have an easy time of it as Groundbreaker, he's got another thing coming!

The video ends.

SDS: Now, during the intermission, post Vito Montani sniping the Paul Grizzly, I did enquire about this. Apparently, Kraken Khan actually stormed into Jeffrey Campbell's office wanting BOTH Zázrak and Seth in the ring.

DS: And then he made it a handicap match? That guy keeps pissing me off.

A loud, angelic orchestra is heard as the entire arena goes black. Spotlights shine down on the stage, revealing the glowing white form of Dennis Zázrak, who stands with his arms spread, his head held high, the championship belt around his waist. The darkness recedes, as does the light, revealing his full, chiselled form. There is a microphone.

David Bekker: Introducing first, from the Little Carpathian Mountains in Western Slovakia, standing at a PERFECT 190 centimetres and weighing in at a PERFECT 112 Kilos, he is the Groundbreaker, DENNIS ZÁZRAK!

DS: Look at this man, Darryl!

SDS: I can't see anything under all that light!

Zázrak (straigtens and looks forward, lifting the mic): Ladies and gentlemen, witness perfection!

He poses again, spreading out his arm. The crowd boos heavily.

DS: Listen to these ignorant people.

SDS: No, I think they've proven to be quite intelligent all night.

Zázrak (starts walking down the ramp): Zázrak expects more respect. Especially since Zázrak is THE Champion in this building.

SDS: What is he talking about?

Zázrak: Since the so-called WORLD Champion is sleeping on the job (points at belt), it is up to the TECTONIC Champion- No, it is up to Dennis Zázrak to carry the Fight Pit forward.

SDS: If it were literally anyone else saying this, I might agree with them.

DS: But no one else is Zázrak!

SDS: Thank God for that.

Zázrak (climbs the steps, wipes feet and enters the ring): Just like Zázrak is must now carry this "team" to victory against-

A loud set of trumpets blowing in lockstep with a rapid-fire boom bap beat.

SDS: I think Seth's heard enough.

DS: You don't interrupt perfection! Who does this guy think he is? Wait, where is he?

The camera lingers on the stage for a bit, but no one comes out.  It then darts about, capturing the faces of the cheering fans until it finds him walking down the stairs between two rows of fans, as always clad in his basketball-inspired shirt and shorts with his big glasses and headphones.

SDS: There he is!

David Bekker: And the tag team partner, from Benguela, Angola, standing 193 centimetres and weighing in at 111 Kilos, SETH!

Seth tosses his glasses, headphones and his shirt. He then hops the barricade and rolls into the ring. He immediately gets in Zázrak's face before pointing at his own eyes, then pointing at Zázrak's. Zázrak slaps his hand and mutters a warning.

SDS: Tensions brewing here. Referee Bryan Mbuemo trying to get between them. These two need to get on the same page and quickly, or else-

A deep, apocalyptic theme is suddenly heard, overlayed with the sound of crashing waves. The massive Kraken Khan, heavily tatted with a crustacean mask, marches onto the stage, his long, braided beard swaying with each step. His Persian Orange eyes are locked on his two enemies in the ring,  who refuse to take their eyes off each other.

David Bekker: And the opponent, from Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, standing 206 centimetres and weighing in at 129 Kilos, Kraken Khan!

SDS: Two months ago, at the first-ever Psycho Style Wrestling event, the Saturday Night Super Fight Special, this man won a 30-person Battle Royal to become the first-ever Groundbraker. Khan would eliminate 11 people in that match, including Dennis Zázrak, who had abandoned his former tag team partner, Talon, to pursue Tecton. Just one month later, at Ascension, Kraken Khan would LOSE the Tectonic Championship TO Dennis Zázrak in a Triple Threat match involving Seth.

DS: And now he's coming for both of them. Pessoal, pay attention!

Khan climbs the apron and steps over the rope.

SDS: Seth just shoved Zázrak to the floor!

DS: He can't do that!

Zázrak sits on the mat, looking offended as Khan tries to decapitate Seth with a clothesline, only for the latter to duck.

SDS: He was "protecting" his "partner", and now he's putting fists to the face of the monster. It looks like Seth is the legal man in this match.

Khan weather's Seth's punches and shoves him away before attempting a big boot. Seth ducks again and runs the ropes, then comes back with a leaping clothesli-

SDS: Caught! Back Body Drop! The strength of Khan! And Zázrak is still sitting there on the mat, laughing. That's your partner, you idiot!

Khan finally sees the Slovak, who stops laughing and quickly rolls out of the ring to escape the monster's reach.

Zázrak presses himself against the chainlink guardrail, holding up his hands in a pleading manner.

Khan: I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL TAKE YOUR-

SDS: Seth with a roll-up from behind! Khan kicks out.

The monster quickly gets to his feet.

SDS: European Uppercut by Seth! Khan is stunned. Irish Whip now. Khan counters. Tag by Zázrak. I don't think Khan saw that. Seth ducks underneath a clothesline. Picking up speed. CROSSBODY! Cover- No!

DS: Haha! He's not legal!

Zázrak gets in the ring and shoos Seth out so he can make the cover.

SDS: Trying to take advantage of Seth's hard work yet again!

DS: Work smarter, not harder. That's why he's the champ!

Seth stands up and stares down Zázrak before shrugging and leaving the ring. Zázrak then bends over to pin Khan, only to find the monster's huge hand around his throat.

DS: NO!

SDS: Khan playing possum! The object of his ire is in his grasp! Zázrak trying to plead! Plead for mercy, but the monster has none! Chokeslam Backbreaker! There's the cover. Zázrak kicks out.

DS: How come Seth didn't break up that pin?

SDS: Zázrak wanted it, Zázrak is getting it, all on his own.

DS: That's not a very tag team partner thing to do.

SDS: He said he'd carry his team victory. Money meet mouth, just like this ground and pound by Khan. Trying to ruin those superstar good looks of Zázrak!

DS: So you admit he's good-looking?

SDS: Never denied it. I just don't hyperfixate on it like some people. Is there something you want to tell me?

Mbuemo pulls Khan off the mount, but Khan chases him off. He then drags Zázrak to his feet and sends him shoulder-first into the ring post. Seth smirks in the corner, only for Khan to rush him and punch him off the apron to loud boos.

SDS: Cheap shot! And now a Stinger Splash to Zázrak! Kraken Khan is in full.

As if to emphasise this very point, Khan turns his back to Zázrak, spreads his arms and roars triumphantly. Seth gets back on the apron and tries to get in the ring, but Mbuemo is there to stop him. Khan just taunts Seth.

SDS: Khan wasting valuable time here. This is the exact mistake that COST him the Tectonic Title.

Khan eventually turns back to Zázrak.

SDS: Low blow! A low blow by Zázrak. Referee Mbuemo is still dealing with Seth. He didn't see it!

DS: A perfect tactic!

With Khan hunched over, clutching his groin, Zázrak grabs him in a Front Facelock, drapes Khan's arm over his head, grabs one leg and performs a Fisherman's Suplex!

SDS: Zázrakaplex! Perfectly executed! There's the bridge and the pin!

DS: Ref! REF! Do your job, dammit!

SDS: He's trying to, but he's distracted. Zázrak could have had this match won already. Seth, what are you doing?!

DS: He's an idiot!

Zázrak releases the bridging pin, and angrily walks over to Mbuemo.

Zázrak: Hey! Hey, what are you-

SDS: Seth just tagged himself in!

DS: What?!

SDS: He's going to steal the pin from Zázrak! Turnabout's fair play. The ref is there.

Mbuemo: 1! 2!

SDS: Zázrak pulls Seth off the pin! Zázrak just cost his own team the win!

DS: Seth did it first! He tried to steal Zázrak's pin.

SDS: Zázrak did it first in this very match.

DS: That was then. This is now. You can't be getting petty in a high-stakes match with a monster like Khan!

Zázrak tries to shove Seth, but the Angola slaps his hands away and shoves him instead. He tries again, and the same thing happens, leading to him getting shoved all the way into the tag corner. Mbuemo screams at Zázrak to get out of the ring

SDS: It did not take long at all for this "team" completely fall apart, did it?

DS: And it's all Seth's fau-

SDS: Khan is up! Kraken Khan is on his feet! Seth doesn't realise it, but Zázrak does, and he's leaving the ring!

Seth turns around and gets grabbed into the signature Lifting Reverse STO of the monster and gets planted face-first.

SDS: MUMBAI MAELSTROM! Cover.

Zázrak hops off the apron as the Referee slides in to count the 1... 2... 3!

The crowd boos heavily as the deep, apocalyptic theme returns.

David Bekker: Here is your winner, Kraken Khan!

SDS: Dennis Zázrak had the opportunity to warn Seth. He knew what was coming, and he fed Seth to the beast!

DS: If Seth had just known his place and checked his ego, they'd be the winners, but noooooooooo!

Mbuemo tries to raise Khan's hand, but the monster pulls his arm away and starts pacing around the ring, turning his head in every direction.

SDS: Khan now searching Zázrak. Where did that weasel slink off too?

A cameraman finds Zázrak at ringside, title in hand, hunched low, staying out of Khan's sight as he sneaks back in the ring and charges in from behind at the exact moment Khan sees him in the corner of his eye.

DS: Uh oh!

SDS: Blindside blocked! Mumbai Maelstrom to Zázrak!

Khan stands up and picks up the discarded Tectonic Championship and raises.

DS: Hey, that's not yours.

SDS: It was his not too long ago, and may be his again in the not-so-distant future!

The Kraken dumps the title on Zázrak's unconscious body: KEEP IT SAFE, BOY!

He briefly looks over at Seth's unconscious body, smirks and leaves the ring to loud boos.

SDS: And now we prepare for our main event, but first, we turn to our backstage colleague Katrina Petrov-

DS: The lovely Katrina-

*SMACK!*

DS: Ow!

SDS: - for the latest on the Vito Montani situation.
