A.B.: And there's Zadie Chen on her way to the ring for some one-on-one action.
Dominga: She's looking healthy for a kidnapping victim.
Chen walks with purpose through the hall, slipping on her red and purple gloves and adjusting her floral domino mask. Chloe Davis comes running behind her.
Chen stops as the interviewer catches up.
Davis: Zadie, uh, first of all, how are you doing?
Chen: I'm fine, Chloe.
Davis: Can you tell us anything about last week? What happened after Athiambo took you away?
Chen: A conversation.
Davis: What... kind of conversation?
Chen (squints): A private one between old friends.
Davis (nervously smiles): Okay.
Dominga: More hard-hitting journalism, I see.
Davis briefly side-eyes the camera before addressing Chen: Why don't we talk about what happened before that? You finally got a chance to pay Jessie Moore back for her many violent attacks against you, including locking you in a broom closet on Episode 2.
Chen's gaze drops.
Davis: Unfortunately, you came up short, and now you're about to face a very dangerous opponent in Svetlana Volkov, who made her impactful debut in Episode 3. Where's your head at right now?
Chen: ... (Looks up) Chloe, do you remember my draft number?
Davis (nods): Yes. You were 7th overall.
Chen: Which means I was the 4th overall pick for this brand (looks away), and I haven't made the most of that opportunity. (straightens) Tonight, I intend to justify my position here. As for Volkov... (looks up at something behind Davis) Give me everything you've got.
The camera pans right to see the painted face of Siberian Wolf, wide of frame with long white locks, standing perfectly still and eyeing the Archer. Davis frowns, not noticing her presence, frowns and turns.
Davis: AAAAHHHHH!!!!
The crowd laughs.
Chen leaves. Volkov's dark eyes watch her every step off-camera, and then she smiles before giving chase.
Davis: D- Back to you guys.
A.B.: Chen. Volkov. Next!
