PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - The Madness vs Chelem Jabbar & the Track Queens

Briar Lane: Your main event of the evening is a Six-Person Tag Team Match, and it is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: One fall!

A growling female voice is heard yelling “Faavalevale!” The four wrestlers in the ring stop fighting at the look at the stage. A deep male voice yells “Porangi!” then an even deeper male voice roars “Vale!” All three then together scream, "MADNESS!" before a deep bass guitar and tribal drums are heard.

The titantron shows chains swinging from side to side as the sliding doors open. Asovale comes out first, her beaded braids covering her eyes. Henare and Manu flank her, rolling shoulders and frothing at the mouth respectively. The crowd reaction is a mix of boos and cheers, all loud.

Briar Lane: On the way to the ring, at a combined wait of 857 pounds, Lulu Asovale, Hunapo Henare and Kaivao Manu, THE MAAAAAAAADNNEEEEESSSS!!!

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Tour of the Islands

Chloe Davis: It has been an insane night in just our 3rd episode of the Monday Night Madhouse. Brutality, athleticism, humiliation, sensational debuts as we just saw... chemical warfare and drama. Speaking of drama (points at the toxic symbol on the door), I'm here at what was earlier the site of a "therapy session" between Seraphina Dubois and her partner, Talon. Now, no one has seen or heard from either since the segment broke out intoa  vicious brawl, so... (turns the handle, opens door slightly to peek inside) I'm just going to look and report ba-

A very loud moan escapes the room. The crowd recognises it immediately. Davis slams the door shut and stares into the camera with bulging eyes, a hand over mouth and a face as red as the sunset.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Meet the Inmates

With the building warmed up, we march to the main event. 3 important matches take place beforehand with multiple debuts, showcasing the depth of the Madhouse roster:

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Breaking the Ice

As Athiambo continues on her path up the ramp, her now steady breaths become visible.

Shamoon: Is it getting cold in here?

A.B.: As a matter of fact, yes?

Dominga: Hey, guys, turn down the ACs, will you?

The lights in the arena shift to a dark blue as a cold wind flies in, and Athiambo's intense guitar riffs are cut off by a deep-sounding Latin instrumental overlayed with Aztec chants and an orchestral chorus. The sliding doors open, revealing a stocky frame, a set of glowing blue eyes and the golden gleam of the Thunderweight Championship. The crowd boos heavily. Those who aren't shivering, of course.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Kalavina Leota vs Athiambo

A high-pitched scream is heard...

Dominga: What the hell?

... followed by a low growl and then an aggressive hard rock/industrial metal hybrid plays to loud cheers from the Himbeergeist crowd.

Briar Lane: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: One fall.

Dominga: Oh, right! I almost forgot this was a wrestling show.

Shamoon: And what a match we're about to see.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Good News

Shamoon: I still can't get over that segment just now.

A.B.: Indeed, every week we learn more and more about Luisa Festa.

Dominga: Yeah, like she's absolutely psychotic. How do you do that? Ruin somebody's relationship like that?

A.B.: Frankly, I think she did them a favour. Toxic indeed.

Shamoon: You guys think a doctor, a real doctor, could cure... whatever that is?

A.B.: I don't think so, but since we're on the topic, we just received word of an incident that took place in the office of Dr Anya Sharma. Let's have a look,

We see an O.R.D.R.L.I feed in the Trainer's Room. Sarah Esposito is seated on a chair. Her calf, swollen from Cobra's bite, is outstretched. Her bronze skin is a sickly yellow and she has bags under her eyes. There's a big metal bucket next to her. Zadie Chen walks in with a bottle of water. Esposito reaches for it, but then grabs the bucket and proceeds to hurl.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Couples Therapy

A video appears on the titantron and we find ourselves in a room with white walls, red curtains, and a big couch. There are several ornaments, pots and pillars around them.

"Socialite" Seraphina Dubois sits on one side of the couch, dressed in a black jacket over a fitting white dress with pink stripes with high-heels. A pair of red-rimmed sunglasses rests on the top of her head, with lipstick to match. Her long blonde hair was slicked back.

"Emperor" Talon sits on the other end of the chair, dressed like Napoleon, bicorne hat and Austerlitz sword included.

Both of them have their legs crossed and their chins resting on their hands and their lower lips jutting out and brows deeply furrowed, all while facing away from each other.

A.B.: What is this?

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Chakir Jabbar w/ Chelem Jabbar vs Roger Evans (c)

The ladders are set up on the left and right sides of the ring. The Bloodbath Championship hangs high above it. Chelem stands outside, by Chakir’s corner with his camera rolling.

Briar Lane: The following singles contest is a ladder match and it is for the PSW Bloodbath Championship! Introducing the challenger. Representing JabbarTV, from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, standing 5 foot 10 and weighing in at 189 pounds, Chakir Jabbar!

Chakir hops the turnbuckle, pulls up his shirt and throws it into the cheering crowd.

Briar Lane: Introducing the champion. From Long Beach, California in the USA, standing 6 foot 2 and weighing in at 206 Kilos, he is the Crimson King, Roger Evans!

Evans just leans against the turnbuckle and throws up the peace sign to boos.

The bell rings.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Dumb and Dumber^2

The 20-year-old Crimson King stands in the ring, wearing his signature fedora, Hawaiian shirt, white-out sunglasses and of course, his Crimson, the Bloodbath Championship. His alternative rock theme is barely heard over the boos.

Evans: So who's it gonna be this week? Who thinks they can hang with Roger Evans and take his title?

Dominga: If I hadn't promised my father to never wrestle again, I'd go in there and do it myself.

A.B.: You would have had to get in line.

A bopping beat is heard. Two tiger outlines, one orange and one green, slide onto the titantron from either side and overlap each other. The letters HN appear on screen, red and blue respectively.

 Dominga: Oh no.

 Shamoon: Oh, yes!

Dominga: Is there seriously no one else back there?

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Words of Warning

Backstage

Chloe Davis is in the hallway, waiting eagerly by gorilla. Queen Cobra is the first to walk in.

Davis: Cobra, could you-

Cobra (walking past while flicking her wrist at her): Not now, Cleo.

Davis: It's... Chloe.

Moore walks in next.

Davis: Jessie. There's been a lot of debate on bLast about your alliance with Cobra. What are you really aft-

Moore slaps the microphone out of the reporter's hands and continues on her way. Davis frowns and bends over to pick it up. The cameraman follows her down and captures Shay Maharaj's feet.

Maharaj: AHEM!

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Sarah Esposito vs Shay Maharaj

Referee Atoye Bonds rushes down to the ring, sending Chen, Moore and Cobra to the back.

A.B.: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the Madhouse. If you missed it, Sarah Esposito just challenged the self-proclaimed Untouchable Shay Maharaj to a match.

Shamoon: Esposito is looking for payback after being knocked out with a lead pipe by Maharaj last week.

A.B.: Just received word from Producer Mike Miller that Nalah Shabani has sanctioned this match for right now.

Bonds orders the two legal combatants to separate corners.

PSW Madhouse Episode 3 - Victory March

- 13 January 2031

A.B.: Welcome, everyone, to Psycho Style Wrestling's Monday Night Madhouse! I'm Alf Balducci, the livewire Dominga Alvarez to my right, the ever-analytical Aazif Shamoon to my left. We are coming to you live from the Humuna Humunarena in Himbeergeist!

Shamoon: Try saying that five times fast!

Dominga: Shu- Nope, not tonight. I can do this.

A.B.: What's this now?

Shamoon: I bet her this morning that she couldn't go one night without telling me to shut up.

Dominga: I won't lose. I refuse to lose.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Kruscher vs Johnny Cyclone

Deep, booming trumpets play. Kruscher marches out, his expression as cold and hard as his wide, muscular frame. The crowd reaction is mixed; some boo, some cheer, but no one is silent.

David Bekker: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Moscow, Russia, standing 196 centimetres and weighing in at 132 kilos, KRUSCHER!

SDS: It has been a series of misfortunes for this man. At the Saturday Night Super Fight, he ran the Six-Man Gauntlet to become the first Holder of Dominion, only for Paul Grizzly to come in as the surprise entrant and take the title for himself. Just one week later, at the 2030 draft, he faced Vito Montani in a Number 1 Contender's Match-

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - The Martyr & the Machine

Backstage

Katrina Petrov stands outside a door with a tag: GENERAL MANAGER. While she waits, a quintet of police officers comes into view. The crowd boos Jenever's finest.

Lead Officer: Excuse me, miss.

Petrov moves aside and gestures for the cameraman to back up as the Lead Officer knocks sharply on the door.

L.O.: JPD! Open up.

The door opens wide, and Campbell walks out: He's all yours, gents.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Dennis Zázrak & Seth vs Kraken Khan

Sara Jr finally walks up the ramp with some people in the crowd chanting "YOU SUCK!" over and over. Other fans cheer and even clap for her. Most of them don't care much one way or another. She walks even faster.

SDS: It has been a rough night, largely due to the fallout from last week, which includes our next match, which Jeffrey Campbell announced in his conversation with Sara Blood Jr.

The two big screens show a video montage of the confrontation.

We see the Tectonic Champion, Dennis Zázrak posing under a single spotlight, fresh off defeating Job R. Smith by crushing his hand until he tapped out. We see the former champion, Kraken Khan, storm down.

Khan (pointing, voice deep and growling): You... have something that belongs to me... boy!

Zázrak looks at his own body in confusion.

Khan (holds out his open free hand): And you will HAND IT to me, or I will personally hand... you head to your dear old dad, Martin...

Zázrak (frowns): Who... do you think you are, you ugly, old, masked freak?! You come down to Zázrak's ring, interrupt Zázrak's moment and threaten Zázrak? The Champion? The Groundbreaker?

Kraken: I threaten the coward who ran away like a thief in the night after STEALING my Tectonic Championship!

Zázrak: Zázrak did not run away from YOU at Ascension on Sunday. No, it was... a tactical retreat. Zázrak had already gotten what he came for, and he had no reason to engage in a meaningless street brawl like some-

Khan: SILENCE! You WILL give me back my title or I-

We then see Seth making his way through the crowd. We see Khan shoving Zázrak out of the way to confront Seth. We see Brendan Steele and his men try to intervene, only for Seth to effortlessly leap over them and initiate an insane brawl that sees the monster throwing Steele's men around like toys.

The brawl ends with Seth sending Khan face-first into the ring post with a Drop Toe Hold before pointing at Zázrak and making a belt motion.

SDS: Seth making his intentions clear. Kraken Khan demanding his title back. If Dennis Zázrak thought he'd have an easy time of it as Groundbreaker, he's got another thing coming!

The video ends.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Sara Blood Jr vs Torti Gal

Sara Jr runs out on stage to boos and cheers.

SDS: Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, to the Friday Night Fight Pit! (looks at Santos, returning to his empty seat) And welcome back, partner.

DS (coming back): What did I mi- Dammit!

She bounces on her feet before sprinting down to the ring.

David Bekker: The following contest is a Race Against Time, and it is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: One fall!

She slides in and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, soaking in the cheers that do come and trying to ignore the boos.

David Bekker: Introducing first, from Staten Island, New York in the USA, standing 196 centimetres and weighing in at 96 kilos, Sara Blood Junior!

DS: Whoops, it seems I need to go again.

SDS: Sit down! This will only take five minutes.

DS: After the way she stunk up the place in her LAST match, she shouldn't get 5 seconds!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Minutes & Millennia

Backstage

Sara Jr sprints into the Gorilla position and nearly out the curtain, only to be stopped by Producer Palesa Jeyi: Haibo! Give us a minute, girl.

Sara Jr: B-But I only got five!

Jeyi (rolling her eyes): When the bell rings, kid. Jeff asked for an intermission while security does one last sweep of the arena.

Sara Jr: ... Oh.

Jeyi (soft smile): Get your mind right, do some warm-ups. When it's time, I'll let you know.

Sara Jr (deep breaths): Yeah, I'll... I'll do dat. (looking around) Uh, where's... Tawhti ... Gal? Where's she at?

Jeyi (looking away at the monitors after putting on headphones): She'll be here. Jeff told me it always takes her a while to get in gear, but she's never late.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Dressing Down & the Dog's Day

Backstage

Cyclone helps the medics carry Grizzly to the back, where another team of medics takes over. The Dominion Champ mumbles in delirium.

Grizzly: Mama... don't wanna... go... school...

Dr Sharma walks in holding the tranq dart, studying it with her usual deadpan: Yes, this is definitely one of ours.

Campbell: You want to tell me why your lot keep bringin' tranq darts to these shindigs?

Dr Sharma (looks at him, while pointing in Grizzly's direction): Because they work.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Shots Fired

Grizzly: MONTANI! I KNOW YOU'RE IN HERE! Get your ass oot here so I can peel the skin off it!

Crowd: Vito! Vito!

Grizzly: Open Season, right?! Well, I'm standing right here!

Crowd: Vito! Vito! Vito!

Grizzly: Yeah, keep chanting! Keep chanting his name! I'll wipe his blood on each and every one of your faces!

Campbell: Grizzly, mate, that's enough!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - The Honey Badger vs Kala Kahuna

A virtuosic guitar accompanied by heavy rock riffs plays to a pop. The two big screens show a honey badger going about its day: burrowing, climbing, looking cute, biting the balls of lions. The man himself briskly walks out, looking small, rabid and wounded.

David Bekker: On the way to the ring, from Hoedspruit, Limpopo, South Africa, standing 168 centimetres and weighing in at 104 kilos, the Honey Badger!

SDS: Diogo, I still cannot believe this man is moving around after last week.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Let the Dead Bury Their Dead

Backstage

An O.R.D.R.L.I. feed appears on the two big screens showing a locker room where Oscar Z. Wallace is sitting, head lowered and shoulder straps down. Suddenly, he gets hit in the face by a towel. The crowd laughs.

The drone pans to show Axel Wallace with his hands on his hips, who gets another loud pop.

Oscar (ripping off the towel): What the hell was that for?

Axel: What the hell were you thinking?

Oscar (looking down): Sorry.

Axel: I didn't ask for an apology, I asked what you were thinking. Tagging yourself in just so you can charge headlong into an arse-kicking?

Oscar: Thorne pissed me off.

Axel: How?

Oscar: What do you mean 'How'? You heard the crap he was saying about Dad?

Axel: Why would that piss you off?

Oscar (looks up): Why didn't it piss you off?

Axel: Because I don't care.

Oscar (frowns): You don't care about what Dad would've thought if he saw watched Ascension?

Axel: If he hadn't been feeding the bloody worms back in Brigg the last two years, then sure.

The crowd gasps.

Oscar (stands up and gets in his face): How can you say that?!

Axel (unbothered): I can say it, because he would. (Leaning in) And by 'would', I mean 'has', because he can't say or think or feel anything. (points at him) You are a grown man. Losing your head over some grade-school insults from an old gits who haven't been relevant since you WERE in grade-school is not only dangerous, it's idiotic.

Oscar: Oh, so I'm an idiot now?

Axel: No, you are a hell of a wrestler who I need on his absolute A game or 'Team Wallace' isn't going to work.

Oscar's moustache twitches, his eyes drop and he turns away.

Axel (grabs him by the shoulder): We're not done talking.

Oscar turns around.

Axel: Look at me.

Oscar meets his eyes.

Axel: At Ascension we got destroyed, singlehandedly. It happened. There's nothing we can do about it other than what we did tonight: Rack up a win and get ourselves back in the conversation.

Oscar: And then what?

Axel: We just keep doing it. One match at a time until we're standing across from those two freaks again. Tình Nhân might be an old lady with bad back who loves the sound of her own voice, but she's a master of mind games and her boys are weapons of mass destruction. If we can't stay focused then we have no chance of getting those belts back and if we can't become the Tag Team Supreme again, then someone else will, because NO ONE is unbeatable.

Oscar nods and looks down again.

Axel: ... I just spoke to Campbell. Next week it's going to be us vs the "rockstars" Tom, Dick & Harry. Those blokes might be complete posers, but they're a unit and while we're dealing with two of them, there's going to be a third man on the outside sniffing for blood. You saw how they handled the Battalion Bros last week. As bad as Thorne was, they're even worse. (holds out his hand) Can I count on you?

Oscar looks him right in the eye and clasps his hand: Yeah.

The crowd cheers.

Axel (slaps him on the shoulder): Top man. (starts walking past) And remember what I said. We won tonight. (points at the ceiling) It's only from here. One match at a time.

Oscar (nods and smiles): One match at a time...

Axel (walking to his locker, picks up the towel and throws it Oscar again): Now go take bloody shower, I could smell you from the hallway.

Oscar (catches it): Go **** yourself, Axel!

Axel: That's what the missus is for. You might wanna invest in one of those.

The younger brother just flicks his hand and leaves, lacking a suitable comeback. The crowd laughs and the feed ends.

Arena

DS: Damn, the Axe man is cold-blooded. I love it!

SDS: He's been a World Champion on 6 out of 7 continents for a reason, and he's right. There are hungry teams all over the board. If the Wallaces can't topple Pandemonium-

DS: I don't think anyone can, but if they don't, they're going to be remembered as the first-ever PSW Tag Team Champions who CHOKED a month in.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Handling Business

A broad-shouldered Caucasian man with a trimmed moustache and a scar over his eye stands in the ring. He wears suspenders hooked to his tights, tape around his fists and an old-school watch chain. He rolls his shoulder, cracks his knucles and pops his neck.

David Bekker: Already in the ring, from Brooklyn, New York in the USA, standing 183 centimetres and weighing in at 118 kilos, "Mr Minute" Louie Mercer!

Mercer holds up his watch to a mild pop.

SDS: The 42nd overall pick at the draft. A technical brawler known in the underground circuit for his 1-minute wins, mostly against hopefuls and rookies.

DS: I can respect it.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Truck Stop

As the Wallaces' music echoes throughout the arena, an O.R.D.R.L.I feed appears on the two big screens.

SDS: There we see the World Dominion Champion, Paul Grizzly, fresh off his "title defence". And to the surprise of absolutely no one, he's walking out again.

DS: He handled business, Darryl. He did what Campbell told him to do and everything. You can't fault him for that.

SDS: Right...

As Grizzly, now in street clothes, rounds a corner, he stops. His thick bushy brows raise high enough for his eyes to be visible, finally.

SDS: What's this now?

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Team Wallace vs the Wild Thornes

The crowd goes wild as a high-pitched guitar riff plays.

SDS: And here they are, the former Tag Team Champions

Axel and Oscar run out, stop and cross their arms over their heads, creating an X symbol, while pointing their index fingers.

David Bekker: Introducing first, from Brigg, England, at a combined weight of 204 Kilos, they are the Tag Team Supreme, Axel and Oscar, TEAM WALLACE!

DS: Can you really call them that, Darryl?

SDS: They won those belts at the Super Fight-

DS: And then got sqashed by Pandemonium a month later. You're not really a champion until you defend it.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 2 - Grizzly Business

- 10 January 2031

SDS: Welcome everyone to the second episode of Psycho Style Wrestling's Friday Night Fight Pit! I'm "Striking" Darryl Stroligo, joined, as always, by the "Carnival King" himself, Diogo Santos, and we are LIVE from the Dandelion Dome in Jenever.

DS: I'm still confused about who the hell Jennifer is and why they named a city after her.

SDS: For the 10th time, it's Jen-e-VER!

DS: That's what I said. Jennifer.

SDS: With a V! You say it with a V, like the drink.

DS: Jennifer's a drink? The more you know.

SDS: Nevermind! We have a couple of updates for you, but first, let's take you back to the chaotic ending of our debut episode!

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Queen Cobra vs Empress Ngozi

The Queen and the Empress circle each other, the latter occasionally giving side-eyes to the stage. Jessie Moore remains in her seat, craning her neck a little to see past the guards.

Shamoon: Queen Cobra has the clear psychological advantage going into this match, courtesy of Shay Maharaj. I hate it, but-

Dominga: But it's brilliant! They trapped her. Trapped her with her own pride, with respect.

A.B.: Trapped her, how? Ngozi has already beaten this... creature.

Dominga: Barely. She BARELY beat her, and that arm is proof.

A.B.: Then she needs to end this quickly.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Checkmate

Queen Cobra waits in the ring on all fours, her feet set wide apart, her chest and chin touching the mat.

Shamoon: I don't like that look on her face.

Dominga: Oh, relax! She's probably just excited to get another go at the Empress.

A.B.: Dominga, she's leering.

Dominga: People express excitement in different ways, Alf! Don't judge.

Shamoon: I'm telling you guys, she's up to something. I can feel it in my gut.

Dominga: It's probably gas. Maybe you should leave... and never come back.

A.B.: Whatever it is, it won't amount to anything.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - United Front

A.B.: Ladies and gentlemen, before we get started with our main event, I have just received word of a situation in the Trainer's Room caught by one of our drones.

Shamoon: The O.R.D.R.L.I.s!

A.B.: I am not calling them that. Roll the footage, please.

The titantron shows the trainer's room and the toll from the night's events: Hotaru Ishikawa still getting splinters pulled out of his bruised back while holding ice to his head, and Luisa Festa being drug-tested, again, behind a curtain.

Dominga: Now's as good a time as any to say, "Kids, don't try this at home."

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - The Long, Long Grass

Backstage

Chloe Davis: A brutal, terrifying display from the Madness, who are already looking like the dominant group here in the MadHOUSE, and maybe one day, all of PSW. I'm here with someone who was once primed to be the most dominant Woman in PSW, the former and first-ever Jewell's Champion, Queen Cobra.

The tall and wiry Queen saunters in to loud boos, but her amber serpentine eyes stare directly into Davis's soul.

Davis: ... Now-

Cobra: "Onssse primed"... What exssactly doesss that mean?

Davis: Well, with all due respect, after pinning Ngozi to become the inaugural Champion at the Saturday Night Super Fight, you ended up losing the Jewell TO the Empress at Ascension a month later.

Cobra's eyes narrow.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Track Queens vs JabbarTV vs The Madness

Briar Lane: The following is a Triple Threat Tornado Tag Team Match, and it is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: ONE FALL!

Pillars of smoke rise on the stage. Elsa and Eeva, two twin ponytailed ladies, speed out of the sliding doors with their helmets, respective red and purple plaid skirts and roller skates. They slide to a stop at the base of the ramp before splitting off to ride around the ring.

Briar Lane: Introducing first, at a combined weight of 264 pounds, Elsa and Eeva, the TRACK QUEENS!

Dominga: I'll say it again, give these two all the credit and, I guess, Leota too. They surprised me with their roller skate wrestling, but I hope they understand they're in there with more than Tubers this time. A LOT more.

A.B.: I imagine they are fully aware. They have to be.

Elsa and Eeva meet at the base of the ramp once again and slide into the ring. They each climb the ropes and throw up the sign of the horns, before hopping down and throwing off their helmets and plaid skirts.

Dominga: Settle down, Aazif.

Shamoon: I didn't even say anything!

Dominga: That's what I'm worried about.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Cold Reception, Warm Welcome

The cameraman finds himself in a dark room with candles everywhere. He steps around them, carefully, taking deep breaths as he approaches a very tall chair. He walks around, but finds no one sitting there.

The candles slowly go out, darkening the room further and further until he can see nothing. He looks around, trying to leave, but not knowing which way is out, frost forming with every heavy breath, soft crunching noises with every step, until his feet become rooted to the floor.

Then the light returns, but it is not the same. It is blue, like the ice. The silhouette of the Thunderweight Champion, El Demonio de las Heladas, passes by. The light follows him, for his eyes are the source, though he does not look at the cameraman, only at his belt, its golden lightning patterns shining almost as brightly.

Heladas: They say that time waits for no man, but I am no man. And yet, I grow tired of waiting.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Luisa Festa vs "Emperor" Talon w/ "Socialite" Seraphina Dubois

The stage is lit with a neon purple colour. The sliding doors open, and Festa, still a little bandaged up, rolls forward into a cross-legged sitting position. The lights change to red. She lifts herself to a knee and backflips, landing in a superhero pose. A strobe effect of green, yellow, white, and red is created.

Shamoon: She's looking a lot better.

Briar Lane: On the way to the ring, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, standing 5 feet 6 and weighing in at 129 pounds, LUISA FESTA!

She gets up and skips to the ring with a spaced-out look on her face. holding out her arms and waving them like a tubeman. The crowd cheers her on.

Dominga: She's on something. I just know it.

A.B.: She was just tested. They couldn't find anything.

Dominga: Look at her eyes! Last week, they were pink. This week, they're blue. She's Afro-Brazilian. That doesn't make any sense.

Shamoon: Ever hear of contact lenses?

Dominga: I worked with contacts for years. Those irises are real!

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Maya Lethbridge w/Kalavina Leota vs Athiambo

A rocking melody plays. A young Caucasian woman with short brown hair with bangs, wearing blue and red gear, jogs out of the sliding doors on the stage. She is followed closely by an older, stern-looking Samoan woman with big curly hair and a tracksuit. The crowd pops mildly, more so for the older woman.

Briar Lane: Accompanied to the ring by Kalavina Leota, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, standing 5 feet 6 and weighing in at 140 pounds, Maya Lethbridge!

A.B.: Maya Lethbridge, the young technician with 8 years in the game. We last saw her and her mentor, Kalavina Leota, the "Mother Hen of Holds" at Saturday Night Super Fight in November. They stepped inside the 16-person Cage Match to crown the first-ever PSW Tag Team Champions, a match that was won by Team Wallace over on the Fight Pit.

Lethbridge high-fives and fistbumps some fans. Leota whispers something in her ear, and she nods before rolling into the ring and slapping herself to get focused.

Dominga: Oh, so Leota trains actual wrestlers, too?

A.B.: What's that supposed to mean?

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Champion's Pride

Ishikawa is getting helped to the back.

Backstage

Chloe Davis stands in front of a large TV monitor, mic in hand and a smile on her face.

Davis: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Bearer of the Jewell, EMPRESS NGOZI!

The crowd explodes in raucous applause before the Empress even appears on screen. When she does, clad in a black robe and signature orange visor with the Jewell's Championship over her left shoulder, they get even louder.

Davis: Empress, thank you for your time. How's the arm?

Ngozi raises her right arm and bends it, slowly: It's much better, Chloe, though not quite 100%. Of course, if I were 100%, I'd be the best wrestler in the world. (pauses, looks up) Oh, wait! (looks at Chloe with a smile, lowers arm) I am.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Roger Evans (c) vs Hotaru Ishikawa

Various crewmen come down to the ring, setting down or setting up tables all around the ring. The two combatants, now both no longer wearing their respective shirts and accessories, take their corners.

A.B.: If you’re just joining us, Hotaru Ishikawa has challenged the inaugural Crimson King, Roger Evans, to a tables match!

Dominga: A horrible mistake will be corrected tonight. The Lord truly works in mysterious ways.

A.B.: As you can see, the ring is now surrounded by tables. The danger is ever-present.

Shamoon: You think that stuff Ishikawa said was true? About getting replaced in the Crimson Cage fatal-4-way at Ascension?

A.B.: I'm sure he'd love to believe that.

Dominga: He wouldn't have said it if it wasn't true. In fact, I have it on good authority that he was in the running before this idiot got handed the spot. (sighs) Will this beautiful sport ever be free of backstage politics and nepotism?

Shamoon: Tell me YOU aren't complaining about nepotism?

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - The Dude & the D-bag

A.B.: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the second episode of Psycho Style Wrestling's Monday Night Madhouse! We come to you live from the Sunrays Stadium in the beautiful city of Lambanog! I'm Alf Balducci, the fiery Dominga Alvarez to my right, the insightful Aazif Shamoon to my left. Guys, I am excited!

Dominga: The one thing that would make this night better would be if I didn’t have to see that fedora-wearing cabrón at the start of the show.

 A.B.: Amen to that.

Shamoon: Oh, come on. Just give him a chance.

A.B.: He was given one last week and he disrespected the business with his presence.

PSW Madhouse Episode 2 - Quid Pro Quo

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - *The Honey Badger vs Vito Montani

Previous Segment

Vito Montani is standing by a corner, facing away from the stage and gripping the ropes tightly.

SDS: And so we have our new main event for tonight. I just want to apologise to everyone for the atrocious, unprofessional conduct of our Champion. I would say the same thing for the challenger, but his frustration is understandable. The phrase "Card is subject to change" typically refers to factors beyond our control, acts of God, if you will. It has nothing to do with THAT!

DS: I still can't believe he did it. He really walked out...

SDS: It's disgusting, isn't it?

DS: What're you talking about? It was awesome! Did you see the look on Campbell's face? I've seen fresh, ripe tomatoes more pale.

SDS: So you're condoning that?

DS: I'm not condoning nothing. Don't put words in my mouth!

SDS: You just called it awesome!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Paul Grizzly (c) vs Vito Montani

David Bekker: Ladies and gentlemen, this is your main event of the evening! And it is scheduled for one fall.

Crowd: ONE FALL!

David Bekker: And it is for the Psycho Style Wrestling World Dominion Championship!

An intense hip hop track plays over the speakers, and the crowd pops. Montani comes out, shirtless as always, with a beanie on his head, a crucifix around his neck and purpose in his steps.

David Bekker: Introducing the challenger! Representing the Streetwise Krew, from Newark, New Jersey in the USA, standing 2 metres tall and weighing in at 121 kilos, VITO MONTANI!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Triple Tectonic Trouble

A high-energy, high-spirited violin and beat track plays and the crowd pops loudly. A very small, skinny man power walks down the ramp with a smile. He is cald in orange from his baseball cap to his shirt to his trunks and boots.

DS: Uh, security? I think a fan snuck over the barricade.

SDS: That's no fan, Darryl.

David Bekker: Making his way to the ring, from Alice Springs, Australia, standing 170 centimetres and weighing in at 73 kilos, Job R. Smith!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - The Kraal

Backstage

The crowd loudly cheers as tall, shredded, tanned Italian in denim jeans with one hand covered by a black fingerless glove and the other in white wrappings. Both hands are throwing jabs, hooks, crosses and uppercuts.

SDS: And there he is! Vito Montani. He challenges Paul Grizzly in an Ascension rematch for the World Dominion Championship next, and Diogo just look at the speed of those hands. If he were fighting anyone else, I'd be worried-

DS: But he's not, Darryl! He's fighting Paul Grizzly, who already tore his ass up on Sunday and tonight, he finishes the job!

Cyclone (o.s): Vito.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Danys Vités vs El Cirujano

SDS: It is now time for some Thunderweight action!

David Bekker: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: One fall!

A deep rumbling futuristic track plays. The two big screens on the stage each show a speed-o-meter, which transitions into a vortex. A flash of light and the first-person camera rushes through a subway, exits onto a busy street at even greater speeds.

An explosion and a blurry streak of blue, black and orange rushes down the ramp and circles the ring 5 times, before stopping at the base of the ramp. Vités runs forward and slides feet-first into the ring.

He raises a hand in the air, his eyes glowing amber behind his black mask and drops it. A trail of blue pyro runs comes down the ramp mimicking his previous path. The Tequila crowd loses it, just like the Sambuca crowd at Ascension.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Backin' Blood

We cut to an area in the back where GM Jeffrey Campbell, clad in a purple dress shirt with rolled-up sleeves and his signature curve-rimmed hat, is standing by a large monitor. Next to him is Fight Pit Producer, Palesa Jeyi, with her big afro and brightly-coloured pantsuit. The crowd pops loudly when they see him.

Jeyi: Hectic...

Campbell: Yeah, that's Tình Nhân, fair dinkum. If she were still in her prime, Nalah would've nabbed her. We're bloody lucky, eh?

Jeyi: Tell that to Hendrix.

Campbell (shrugs): Wrong place, wrong time. He'll be right. (looks at her, while pointing at the monitor) And speakin' of, who in the blue hell gave the thumbs up to that absolute shocker of a tune they rocked up to?

Jeyi (shakes her head while holding up her hands): That was NOT the song they submitted. I don't know what that was.

Campbell: Yeah, well, ya better get onto fixin' it, pronto, before Sanka kicks me off the telly or the U.N. slaps us with sanctions for terrorism.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Mother's Word is Law

Tình Nhân remains still for a moment. You can hear a pin drop. Mộng Dữ stands completely still as though he were made of stone and just as lifeless, with his eyes completely blacked out. Hổn Loạn breathes heavily, swaying from side to side, clawing at his own arm, ready to explode.

Tình Nhân: Psycho... Style... I remember when those words first graced my ears. I remember when I was baptised and converted. And I remember, from a distance, watching it die...

She looks down at the mat for a moment.

Tình Nhân: Imagine my shock when it found new life and... (raises her head) when it called out to me.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Tom & Dick vs Battalion Bros

The actual match is well underway. Tom, no longer wearing his top hat and shades, stomps on El Soldado in the corner. Dick is on the apron, while Harry stands on the outside yelling insults with tissues in his bloody nose. Referee Dan Masters is issuing warnings and starting the five-count.

SDS: Presley needs to be careful here. Tag. In comes-

DS: BIG DICK!

SDS: Really?

DS: It was right there. Don't tell me not to take it.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Military Meets Music

Pyro shoots up from the stage, screeching loudly before falling back down and exploding, followed by a grungy rock track playing. Two men draped in camo walk out. A well-built Caucasian with a bandana and a ginger beard, and a shorter, leaner, brown-skinned luchador with a camo mask and blonde mohawk.

They walk down together, slapping hands with fans on either side.

SDS: On the topic of tag teams...

David Bekker: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Making their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 196 kilos, Major Mallory, El Soldado, the Battalion Bros!

DS: You know, Darryl. I had brothers, cousins and uncles in the Brazilian Armed Forces, I'm talking Navy, Army, Air Force, Police, Firefighters, everything. I cannot stand stolen valour.

SDS: Stolen valour? Devin Mallory was a Major in the United States Marine Corps. His credentials are legitimate.

DS: I'm not talking about Mallory! I'm talking about that bobagem next to him. "El Soldado"? "The Soldier"? Seriously?

SDS: He has credentials, too!

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Title Talk

DS: Darryl, I can't get over that Cyclone kid. I thought he was done, and he just ran through Kruscher at the end and picked him up. That was superhuman!

SDS: Indeed it was, partner. There is no doubt in my mind that he will be challenging for the World Dominion title in the very near future, whether it's Paul Grizzly or Vito Montani.

Santos shakes his head at the mention of Montani.

SDS: Now, we've already been feeling the fallout of the end of Ascension, but two big title changes took place earlier in the show.

DS: That's right! We witnessed perfection when Dennis Zázrak took Tecton, even after his pathetic loser of an ex-partner, Talon, jumped him!

SDS: We'll hear from the new Tectonic Champion later tonight, just like we'll hear from the new Tag Team Champions, Pandemonium, very shortly. And Diogo, you and I, we're no strangers to tag team gold. Although I will admit you're more experienced in that department than me.

DS (smirks and nods, while holding up his fingers): 7 times, baby!

SDS: Have you ever been in or seen as one-sided a bout as we saw on Sunday in that tag team ladder match?

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Johnny Cyclone vs Kruscher

Next Segment

Lightning strikes the stage before a high-energy 130 BPM rock track blasts through the speakers.

DS: AAAAAH! What the hell?!

The two big screens display an endless looping clip of a tornado. Johnny Cyclone walks, rolling his shoulders and cracking his neck while clenching his white-gloved fists.

David Bekker: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Crowd: One fall!

Cyclone starts bouncing on the balls of his feet, his freeform dreadlocks shaking every which way.

David Bekker: Introducing first, from Montgomery, Alabama, in the United States of America, standing 2 metres tall and weighing in at 115 kilos, JOHNNY CYCLONE!

Cyclone leaps into the air and comes crashing down, summoning a huge explosion of pyro. He marches down to the ring, slapping some hands with the fans.

PSW Fight Pit Episode 1 - Hero's Welcome

Next Segment

- 3 January 2031

The capacity crowd is rabid, held back by a chain-link barricade in the fog-filled arena. A ramp leads down from a stage with two big screens displaying the letters P S W in red, purple and blue, respectively, to the ring. The ring is completely white save for the steel-grey ropes and the words "FIGHT PIT" splattered on the apron in blue.

SDS: HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome everybody to the first episode of Psycho Style Wrestling's Friday Night Fight Pit. "Striking" Darryl Stroligo here with the "Carnival King" Diogo Santos, and we are LIVE from the Tenamaxtli Stadium in the town of Tequila!

DS: "Tequila", my ASS, Darryl! Have you tasted the stuff they got here? It's like drinking horse piss, companheiro. They should change the name!

SDS: How do you know what that tastes like?

DS: NO COMMENT!
